About This Project
One of our customers, Paul Turner, has used our Structural Green Oak Beams, Air Dried Oak Beams and Black Painted Featheredge Kiln Dried Nordic Pine Cladding to craft exquisite additions to both the exterior and interior of this majestic cottage rental. It is named the Victorian Stables and available to rent.
Cut from Nordic Pine or Spruce, our Black Painted Featheredge Cladding is ideal should you require that traditional barn like finish, as well as exceptional protection from the elements. This profile is becoming increasingly popular for those that require sleek contemporary finishes.
Our Air-Dried Structural Oak Beams are dried for at least 36 months and generally longer, therefore due to there lower moisture content compared to that of our Structural Green Oak Beams they are more stable and less prone to movement and cracking, making them perfect for all internal structurals.
Fresh cut (Green) Structural Oak Beams are perfect for all structural purposes both internally and externally. These beams are unseasoned, which means that they have been recently felled and have a higher moisture content, therefore they’re easier to cut into custom shapes compared to our Air-Dried Oak Beams.
