About This Project
This stunning customer project from CRH Carpentry & Building using Oak Featheredge Cladding to transform this porch, giving it a classic and warm aesthetic whilst providing extra protection from weather elements.
Featheredge Cladding is also know as weatherboarding and is a traditional means of cladding homes. It is a simply sawn board cut on the diagonal to produce a tapered board that is overlapped when fitted, similar to roof tiles. This type of cladding is a budget option for projects whilst giving them the natural durability of Oak. It’s ideal for a elegant rustic finish, with some knots and colour variation.
