About This Project
During lockdown, Rory used a range of our cladding and oak boards to design and build a bar. He used our Character Grade V Tongue and Groove Internal to create the bar, as well as Kiln Dried Oak boards to create shelving units behind the bar which rest on pipes to give a rustic look whilst providing storage space for bottles. Kiln Dried is the perfect Oak to use for shelving as it has a low moisture content and will have minimal movement over time once fitted, meaning there should be no changes in the straightness of the shelves over time. These can be stained and painted from the original deep brown colour that they naturally come in.
