About This Project
Have you ever dreamt about creating something that seems completely beyond the realms of possibility? One of our customers at UK Timber Ltd grabbed the bull by the horns and made it a reality.
This beautiful building, although not yet complete, will be used predominantly as an art studio for drawing, painting and for his new found hobby….carving more oak!
Other than using a power drill and a flat drill bit for the fixtures on the mortise and tenon joints (still using a wood chisel to cut the various in length 100 mm x 50 mm mortise and tenons), all of the rest was hand cut with handsaws and chisels.
What a blooming lovely building. We have no doubt it will be a masterpiece when finished. He’s made a wood burrowing worm look amateur!
